Our Noyl Boy heifer

3/17/2012

We are developing the old tranditional Devon genetics.  Noyl Boy M78 is one of our foundational sires, he has been deceased for over 25 years.  This line is distinguished by the depth of body.  We are line breeding to develop a consistency in our cattle.  This is a July heifer from our herd sire Major, who is a Noyl Boy son, her dam is R78, a Noyl Boy daughter.  This heifer weighed 650 pounds on 3-17-12.  We hope to place her in our national sale this fall.  We have an outstanding crop of fall calves by Major that will be ready to ween this spring.
